Arabtec Holding PJSC (“Arabtec” or “Group”), a leading contractor for social and economic infrastructure, today announced that the Consortium between its wholly owned subsidiary, Target Engineering Construction Company and Spain’s Tecnicas Reunidas has been awarded the AED 3.2 billion (USD 861 million) Gas Development Expansion Phase II (IGD-E2) project by ADNOC LNG. The project works will commence in October 2018 for a duration of 54 months.
Target’s scope within the Consortium is to construct the gas processing trains, supporting utilities and offsite facilities that will enable the transfer of 245 million standard cubic feet a day of additional low-pressure gas to Habshan from Das Island in the UAE.
The Front-End Engineering Design (FEED) has been prepared by FLUOR Corporation with Mott MacDonald appointed as Project Management Consultant for the project.
